They can be total P.I.T.A’s* at times.
For guy’s like me, that’s a good thing. I’m constantly working on improving my technique, usually with what I call digital doodles. I’ll doodle, and when I’m done, I either delete it and move on, or maybe file it away to work on another day. It’s always more an exercise in learning specific techniques, or visualizing a scene from a story I’m working on.
Over the years, I’ve created ton’s of these doodles.
The wife began pushing me last year to start doing more with these renders, to “get it out there”. She’s taken some of the art and made prints, and they have sold, and in a few cases, they won some local art contests.
With all the changes that 2012 brought (way too many to go into right now) I’ve made a commitment to creating more high resolution prints, and make them available here on the site.
I don’t know how it’ll all shake out, but I do know that if I don’t try, I’ll never know.
And she will never stop pushing me about it 🙂
So here’s a WIP from the first set that’ll be in the shop.
I’m excited about what 2013 has in store.
Hope you are, too!
